HuskyBIM for Archicad 29 connects Claude Desktop to Graphisoft Archicad 29 through a native Add-on. With 733 tools covering elements, attributes, classifications, layouts, issues and more, you can automate your Archicad workflow through plain language.

Free and ready to use. All 733 tools are functional and tested against Archicad 29.

Installation

1

Download the installer

Sign in to your account page and download HuskyBIM_for_ArchiCAD_29_v1.5.49.exe from the Downloads section.

2

Run the installer

Double-click HuskyBIM_for_ArchiCAD_29_v1.5.49.exe and approve the Windows security prompt (enter an administrator password if asked). Do not right-click and choose "Run as administrator" — activation must run from your own account. The installer copies the Add-on to Archicad's Add-Ons folder and installs Node.js if needed.

3

Enter your account email

When prompted, enter the email address for your free HuskyBIM account. The installer validates your account and registers the Claude Desktop extension automatically.

4

Restart Archicad and Claude Desktop

Start Archicad with a project file open, then restart Claude Desktop. The HuskyBIM for Archicad 29 extension will appear automatically with all 733 tools ready.

What you can do

Layouts and drawings — create layout books, place drawings, manage sheets
Issues (BCF) — create, update, comment on and resolve issues

Example workflows

Layer audit
List all layers in the project and show how many elements are on each layer.
Issue management
Show all open BCF issues and group them by author.
Documentation

Troubleshooting

Add-on not loading

Ensure Archicad was fully restarted after installation. Open Options → Add-on Manager to confirm HuskyBIM is listed and enabled. If the Add-on does not appear, re-run the installer by double-clicking it — do not use "Run as administrator", which can place the activation under the wrong Windows account.

Tools not visible in Claude Desktop

Make sure Archicad is running with a project open and Claude Desktop has been restarted after installation. If the extension is missing, re-run the installer.
